Gas Wall Heater

This Gas Wall Heater will Keep You Warm

“This was the best gas wall heater to buy!”

If you’re looking into getting a gas wall heater, you should think very carefully about it. The reason that you should think about it so hard is the fact that this technology is starting to go away. You have to realize that the main appeal of gasoline powered heating units is the fact that they are available in the case of an electrical power outage as well as in situations where there is no electricity to begin with. You can see how useful this would be if you were out on the road somewhere or doing a job that requires you to be outside and you desperately need heat. The problem with these units, though, is that they’re wall mounted. That takes away that advantage, so the only real use for them today is as a backup.

Don’t get me wrong, though. They are excellent devices, and they were once the industry standard. All the reputable brands manufactured them at a time, like Rinnai, Hamilton, Qmark, Trane, Beacon Morris, Menards, Maxx, and Reddy. They all made them and they made them well, though they have moved on with the technology. They have moved on to manufacture more efficient types of heating systems, such as solar powered and infrared.
Now, the one case that this would be a good choice would be if for some reason your only other options were propane or oil wall mounted units. In that case, I would recommend natural gas because it’s actually more efficient than they are, though it’s still not ideal.

Now let’s assume you already have one, and you’re just looking for instructions on how to install them. Well, that’s actually not that difficult, assuming you have some kind of DIY (do it yourself) knowledge and a little determination. They usually come with their own brackets and screws that you can use to attach it securely, though you might need someone to help you hoist it up. After all the work, you might consider just getting a portable model instead.
